『머뭇』은 말이 되기 전, 짧은 망설임이다.
읽히기보다는 감지되고, 확신보다는 예감에, 설명보다는 암호에 가깝다.
2024년, 딜리네스는 신안의 물길을 따라 진흙과 소금,
목조선의 흔적을 고스트 프린트로 남겼다.
2025년 장마철, 다시 신안 해안에서 해남 땅끝으로 길을 잇는다.
그 여정은 건조하고 습하며, 지고한 순간들로 채워진다.

『머뭇』은 떠나기 전, 기류에 실려온 문장들을 받아 쓴 예지서 형식의 책이다.
철새의 경로를 따라 편서풍을 타고, 젖은 발은 꿈속에서 들린다.

새들이 방향을 틀 때, 공기엔 궤적이 그려진다.
하나의 의지는 집단적 감응(over-soul)을 부른다. 예측할 수 없는 형세 속에서,
웅얼거림(murmur)은 무리비행(murmuration)이 되고,
새는 마침내 자신의 형태와 이름을 얻는다.

이 책은 앞서 읽고, 되짚고, 다시 듣기 위함이다.
되돌아보는 지금, 머뭇-'새의 언어'가 들린다.
말보다 먼저, 숨보다 늦게.
날아오른 새는, 내쉰 숨으로 본다.

Murmur/ation is a brief hesitation before speech.
Sensed rather than read, intuited rather than known—a cipher, not an explanation.
In 2024, Delines walked the waterways of Shinan, leaving ghost prints of mud, salt, and wooden boats.
In 2025, during the monsoon season, we will once again trace the path from the shores of Shinan to Haenam, the land’s end.
This journey will unfold through dryness, humidity, and spiritual elevation.

Murmur/ation is a book of prophecies, gathering sentences carried by the wind.
We ride the westerlies behind the birds, our wet feet rising as we ascend within our dreams.

When birds shift direction, trajectories are drawn in the air.
A single will summons a collective resonance—an over-soul.
From unpredictable formations, murmur becomes murmuration, and the bird finds its shape and name.

This book is meant to be read, retraced, and heard again.
Looking back now—hmm—one hears the language of birds.
Before words, after breath.
A bird takes flight, and sees with the breath exhaled.
